What is your role today and your objective?
Finance Consultant. My objective is to interact with every customer in the way that I would want my family and friends to be interacted with. I’m focussed on providing a great service that is worth paying for and provides great outcomes for both our clients and Stratton Finance.
What’s an example of a great SF customer experience you’ve been involved with?
There’s been so many, but specifically, one of my repeat clients had their vehicle written off by a drunk driver, (she wasn’t in the car and the driver was ok also) she came back to me worried about the payout from her vehicle finance vs her insurance. She had forgotten that she also had an asset protection insurance included with her finance package. I assisted her with the process of her making a claim, which ultimately not only covered her the difference in her payout but also around $2000 of stamp duty etc. on her new vehicle!
How do you feel SF is differentiated in the market and the value we add?
As a market leader in technology, we can personalise how we assist clients. For those that prefer a solely digital experience we can assist in this way, alternatively for those that prefer dealing with someone over the phone (face to face sometimes!) we can also assist in this way. Not being forced to transact in a way that suits the business not the client differentiates us from the market. We care about our clients not only at point of sale, but we aim to be a ‘Consultant for Life’ for all of our client’s future needs.
What are you most excited about for the future?
Change is inevitable and the finance sector has definitely seen its fair share in the past 12 months. I’m excited to see what comes next and how we can adapt. I enjoy challenges and believe that we’re set up to not only service our clients in new and innovative ways but we’re a company that really live our values so we’ll have a lot of fun doing this!
Most importantly, why do you love coming to work every day?
This is by far the most unique working environment I’ve ever been a part of! You never know what mayhem the day is going to bring. Working with a great crew that’s focused on delivering a great result but also a healthy working environment is why I love coming in every day!
