Motor Vehicle Stamp Duty in Queensland (QLD) is calculated upon the dutiable value and engine size of the car or vehicle. The dutiable value for new motor vehicles is the total price list of the vehicle including all items of optional equipment. The dutiable value of a used vehicle is the greater of the sale price of the vehicle, (including deposit and the cost of all optional equipment) or the market value of the vehicle.
