How much Luxury Car Tax (LCT) do I have to pay?

The exact amount of Luxury Car Tax (LCT) you pay is determined by the amount that the car's purchase price exceeds the Luxury Car Tax threshold, or, in the case of a fuel-efficient "green" car, the fuel-efficient "green" car limit.

Where LCT is payable, it amounts to 33% of the portion of the purchase price (less GST) that exceeds the applicable limit or threshold.
