I was looking for car finance recently and my own bank was not at all competitive with your rates and charges. I actually stumbled across your finance website a couple of weeks ago while looking "on-line" for my car loan at a better rate. Somehow your website details appeared on my screen one evening. Out of curiosity I sent my mobile phone number and email address to Stratton Finance. The next morning I received a call from Chris Hare. He made the application process very simple and straight-forward for me. His manner was friendly, professional and re-assuring. In the past I have found that being over 50, self-employed and also single can be an issue with lending institutions, despite the fact that I've run my own business in Hobart for nearly 20 years. Being put under the microscope by banks and asked to furnish tax returns, assets, and debt details is uncomfortable for me and has certainly been the case with other institutions. Chris emailed documents to me and gave plain English instructions which were very easy to comprehend and comply with. I am greatful to him for making the whole process as easy and painless as it was. Thank-you for your assistance in the matter of financing my GTi Golf car. I have just arrived back in Hobart today after flying up to Sydney last Saturday and having a wonderful drive home via the NSW South Coast, then on to Melbourne, and the ferry back to Tasmania last night. Yes, I am extremely pleased with the car. It is all and more than I expected, and as I had agreed to the purchase without having driven or seen the car (other than photograghs) there was naturally a degree of trepidation on my part. It is a gem, and in pristine condition despite its 7 years. Thanks again to Chris Hare for his professionalism and following up when he said he would. Everything went as smoothly as he forecast and I really appreciated his friendly calls and his assistance. Please pass on my best wishes and thanks to him.
